Jamil Hasanlis Book Published in Iran
Baku / 26.05.17 / Turan: On the eve of the 99th anniversary of the Azerbaijani People's Republic (APR), a book by the famous historian, professor and leader of the National Council of Democratic Forces Jamil Hasanli titled The Foreign Policy of the Azerbaijani People's Republic in 1918-1920 was published in Iran.
The monograph was published in the Persian language by the publishing house Surushe Sepehr in Tehran. The work deals with the creation of the APR, its activities, relations with neighboring countries and Great Powers. The book was translated from the Azerbaijani language by Professor Hussein Sharghi.
This is the second edition of this work. For the first time the monograph was published by the publishing house Herime Elm a few years ago. The re-publication is due to the interest of Iranian readers in the history of the APR, the impact of the October Revolution on the Caucasus, the struggle of the Great Powers for Baku oil, the Turkish Islamic army's approach to the Caucasus, the war with Armenia and the struggle for Nagorno-Karabakh, the recognition of the APR by the West and its integration in the international community.
The monograph details the creators of the APR, including M. Rasulzadeh, A. Topchubashev, F. Khoysky, N. Usubbekov, etc., and their historic merits. -02D-

In Azerbaijan, the cost of books spans a broad spectrum, typically ranging from 5 to 25 AZN ($3 to $15). In a world increasingly marred by the effects of climate change, art has emerged as an unexpected, yet powerful, platform for raising awareness and sparking conversations on environmental responsibility. One such endeavor is the exhibition "A Different Kind of Climate," currently on display at Kapellhaus with support from the Goethe-Institut. The timing of this exhibition is no coincidence, aligning with the upcoming COP29, the UN Climate Change Conference to be held in Baku from November 11 to 22. The exhibition seeks to engage audiences on pressing ecological issues, blending local and international perspectives.
