Şuşa qalası. Reza Deqati
Baku/08.12.22/Turan: On December 8-9, 2022, “Days of Shusha” will be held in the “Cultural Capital of the Turkic World” city of Bursa within the framework of joint cooperation of the International Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage and the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality.
The program includes an exhibition of photographs by the world-famous photographer Reza Degati “The Pearl of Azerbaijan Shusha”, reflecting the culture of Karabakh. The exhibition will feature photographs taken by the photographer before and after the occupation of Shusha. Recall that Reza Degati, who left the city shortly before the occupation in 1992, returned 30 years later and again transferred Shusha to the memory of the camera.
It should be noted that the photographer is in Bursa at the opening of the Degati exhibition, and during the event he will also hold a face-to-face conference and talk about the past, present experience and dreams of the future of Shusha.
The city of Shusha, chosen as the “Cultural Capital of the Turkic World” in 2023, has historically been one of the most important centers of cultural, spiritual, socio-political life of Azerbaijan. The organization of the "Days of Shushi" of Bursa on the initiative of the International Foundation of Turkic Culture and Heritage aims to lay the foundations of a new tradition of transferring the status of the "Cultural capital of the Turkic world" from one city to another.
The official part of the "Days of Shusha" includes the participation and speeches of the President of the International Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage Gunay Efendiyeva, the head of the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Alinur Aktash, officials of Azerbaijan and Turkey, heads of Turkish cooperation organizations.--0--
