Baku/17.05.23/Turan: A well-known historian and public and political figure, Professor Jamil Hasynli has published two new books: "The Test of Time" and "South Azerbaijan: at the Crossroads of History, 1939-1945".
Both books were prepared while working as a visiting researcher at the Institute of Historical Studies under the University of London.
The first book is written in the genre of memoirs, it covers the period from the 1950s to 2010 and issued by the publishing house "Ol".
The second book chronologically covers the period from the struggle of South Azerbaijan for independence to the proclamation of the Democratic Republic of South Azerbaijan in December 1945. Prepared by the publishing house "Qanun".
The publication of this book is based on new materials discovered in Western and Russian archives. The research work is of particular importance in view of the current events in South Azerbaijan. -0-
