"Week of Francophonie" will be held in Baku from April 1 to 22.
This festival of the French language and Francophonie is organized by the embassies of France, Belgium, Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Morocco, Romania and Switzerland - countries that are members or observers of the International Organization of Francophonie.
On the eve of the event, on March 30, the press conference of the ambassadors of the mentioned countries was held at the Landmark Hotel.
According to the Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Aurelia Bushe, this year compared with the past, the number of countries participating in the organization of events increased from 8 to 10.
"The exclusivity of this project in representing different cultures in it," said the ambassador.
Opening will take place on April 1 in Mugam Center with a concert of jazz performers, organized by France, Azerbaijan and Greece.

April 8 - Day of Belgium, French Institute in Azerbaijan
April 8 - Moroccan film about the journey of Ibn Batuta to Mecca
April 9 - International Chess Tournament for Children
April 9-15 - "Meeting of the main chefs". Hungarian film "Ferenc Puskash"
April 10 - Exhibition "Hungarian explorers of the East"
10-13 April - Lithuanian cinema "Balcony"
April 11 - French cinema "Paris"
April 12-14 - "Miserable", Molière
April 15 - Master class solo theater, Les Livreurs
April 18 - "Architectural Truths - Egypt", exhibition
April, 19 - Musical evening in the cafe "Paris Bistro"

April 22 - Official closing ceremony of "French Language and Francophone Week".
The international organization of the Francophonie includes 84 states (58 members and 26 observers), which unite the French language and common values.-06D-
