On the eve of the storm 300 oil workers were evacuated
Before the strong storm expected on March 31, about 300 oil workers were evacuated from several offshore platforms, Mirnari Gahramanly, the head of the Oil Rights Protection Committee, told Turan.
According to her, they were workers of "Oil Stones", "Absheronneft", NGDU Narimanov.
She also said that evacuation was not carried out from the platforms "May 28"
"Bahar" and "Gunashli", which causes concern.
"The relatives of the oil workers working at the Gunashli field are particularly concerned, where in December 2015 the largest catastrophe in the history of the Caspian occurred, which led to the death of more than 30 people.
The weather forecasters reported on the onset of a violent storm on Friday, which could have serious consequences. Similar storms several times over the past 2 years have caused the death of more than 45 oil workers at sea. Half of them were never found.
None of the representatives of SOCAR was punished for what happened. The public was also not informed about the causes, disasters and what was done to exclude them in the future. -05B-
