Those who have not committed a crime can be released - political scientist
Baku/26.05.21/Turan: People who have not committed a crime can be returned to Armenia, political analyst Zardusht Alizadeh stated in the "Difficult Question" program on May 26. The essence of the matter is that several members of the civil society of Azerbaijan also joined in the appeal of two representatives of Armenia - Georgy Vanyan and Yuri Manvelyan - to President Ilham Aliyev regarding the release of Armenian servicemen detained by law enforcement agencies.
Arzu Abdullayeva, Ali Abasov, Zardusht Alizade, Sabit Bagirov, who joined this call, ask the President, showing goodwill, to release the Armenian servicemen under arrest in Azerbaijan, in whose actions the investigation did not reveal any serious criminal actions.
The political scientist says that the Azerbaijanis detained in Karabakh are called members of "sabotage groups", and the Armenian side calls them prisoners of war. "The Azerbaijani side even released 3-4 people from this gang who did not commit a crime. I believe that this can be continued now. Of course, initially it could be applied to the Armenian military who did not commit a crime.
Speaking about the reasons for this appeal, Zardusht Alizadeh stressed that the peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan are victims of the political line that was forced upon them over the past 33 years. "It was not they who made the decision about the presence of war or peace between the two neighboring countries; we can say that the decision of the future fate of our peoples does not depend on them."
The political scientist, referring to the unethical attitude of the Azerbaijani-Armenian military to each other in some video messages, says that such actions are unacceptable; this does not contribute to the issue of peace.
That is, in order to normalize the process in the region, the parties should transmit to each other more messages of a peaceful nature: “In my opinion, now there is a need for this kind of messages. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen this line. -05В-
