Baku/17.05.22/Turan: Another criminal case has been initiated against the chairman of the Citizen and Development Party, Ali Aliyev. The former chairman of the Binagadi district branch of the Yeni Azerbaijan party, Ramiz Goyushov, filed a complaint against the chairman of the party. This time, Ali Aliyev was charged under the Article 148 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (insult). The preliminary investigation of the criminal case has been completed, the materials have been sent to the Yasamal District Court for consideration.

On January 13, the Yasamal District Court, chaired by Judge Hussein Safarov, ruled on the complaint of SBS Lieutenant Colonel Emil Jafarov and arrested Aliyev for five months. Later, the court considered the claim of the captain of the State Border Service (SBS) Ramin Adilov. Aliyev's previous and new sentences were partially cumulative, and he was sentenced to a total of six months' imprisonment.

“The question arises - why didn’t he experience stress when videos of intimate content with his participation were distributed, but after Aliyev’s words on the Youtube channel, terrible moral experiences began? Moreover, after quite a lot of time has passed since Aliyev's statements?” Rahimzade emphasized.
