18-20 November Parliament Approves Budget for 2015
On 18-20 November (three days) the parliament will discuss the draft state budget for 2015. Parliamentary committees recently approved the government's plans.
The materials of the Ministry of Finance said that the budget revenues are projected at 19 438 mln. manat, expenses - 21 100 mln. manat with a deficit in 1 662 mln. manat or 2.8% of GDP.
Most of the revenue will come from SOFAR - 10 388 mln. manat. The share of the Ministry of Taxes – 7 112 mln. manat, the State Customs Committee – 1 590 mln. AZN.
In 2015, the social costs of the state budget are projected at 5,826 mln. AZN or 27.6% of total budget expenditures. Spending on national needs will be at 2 046 500 000 manat, on defense - 1 778 500 000 manat, on education - 1 711 200 000 manat, on social protection and social security - 2 040 500 000 manat, and on health care - 777,700,000 manat.
In addition, the state capital investments are planned at 6930 mln. AZN, maintenance of public external debt - 703 million manat, and the else is other expenses.
Settings are based on the budget of the average price of oil at around $ 90 per barrel.
The state budget for this year was approved with revenues of 18 384 mln. manat, expenses - 20,063 mln. manat with a deficit in 1679 mln. manat, or 2.87% of GDP. --17D-
