AccessBank has increased interest rates on deposits
AccessBank announced a new spring campaign in the interest rates on deposits to individuals which increased by 2%. During the campaign the maximum interest rate on deposits in manats is to be 12%, and in U.S. dollars - 10%.
The Director of Retail Banking and Operations of AccessBank Anar Hasanov, commenting this campaign, said: "AccessBank since its first days has been trying as to consumer demand and aims to create the most favorable conditions for business development and improvement of living standards. For only 10 years AccessBank has managed to become a reliable, affordable and stable partner for its customers, strengthen its position in the local market and enter the 10 best banks in the country."
AccessBank is a member of Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (http://www.adif.az/) and all contributions to the Bank will automatically be insured under the terms of the Fund. Note that the maximum interest rate on which the Fund insures deposits is at 12%. At the moment, the Bank's deposit portfolio exceeds 225 million U.S. dollars. Compared to last year, the portfolio grew by $ 18 million.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
