Accountants in Nakhchivan will conform to international standards
Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan has summed up the training on the application of international accounting standards in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Finance (http://maliyye.gov.az/node/1588), studies conducted among accountants funded organizations under the "Reporting in the corporate and private sectors" (CAP / SAP).
This is the first step in a series of trainings on the territory of Azerbaijan. The purpose of training is increase of theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Earlier it was reported that the Board of Directors of the World Bank in March 2008 approved a loan for Azerbaijan of $ 11 million on the said draft CAP / SAP. The total cost of the project is $ 24 million
The missing 13 million is distributed among the stakeholders as follows - $ 8 million was allocated by Azerbaijani government, $ 3 million - through a grant from the Government of Japan, another $ 2 million - a grant from the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
