Agricultural output grew by 4.5%
In January of this year, the agricultural production in Azerbaijan made AZN 187.5 million, which is 4.5% higher than in the comparable period of 2012, the State Statistics Committee told Turan.
During this period, the share of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the gross domestic product was 2.3%. For the entire 2012, the figure was 5.2%.
In January, it was made of meat in live weight - 35.5 thousand tons (+2.3%), milk - 129.8 thousand tons (+5%), eggs - 111.2 million (20.3 %). In greenhouses were reared 2570 tons of vegetables (+10.2%), part of which was exported.
In 2012, agricultural production in the country grew by 5.8%. In Azerbaijan, agriculture is exempt from all taxes except land tax. - 08D-
