OJSC "DemirBank" prepared applications for users of smartphones and tablets. In December 2012 Applications are available for Apple (App Store) and Android (Play Market), with February 2013 as a free download application for BlackBerry (App World).
Through the above application users (iPhone, iPad, Samsung Note / Galaxy, HTC, BlackBerry, etc.) can get information about the Bank, as well as conduct some operations. Users will be informed automatically about regular program updates in Azeri, Russian and English languages, expanding its capabilities.
The application, called "DemirBank" available information and news about DemirBank, addresses and maps of branches and ATMs, currency exchange rates and converter, utilities, telecommunications services, Internet and cable TV in BillPay, Internet banking services for plastic cards and information the products of the Bank. Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
