Annual inflation was 1.7%

Consumer price index in Azerbaijan in January-May of this year at an annual rate of 1.7%. Inflation, according to the State Statistics Committee, was mostly due to higher prices for paid services 3.3%.

In GCS told Turan, in January-May, annual inflation for food products amounted to only 1.4%, while non-food prices rose 0.5%.

For five months of 2012, annual inflation was 2.5%. - 08D-
