Assets and liabilities of banks in Azerbaijan in November grew proportionally
BAKU/22.01.14/TURAN : Total assets of banks in Azerbaijan rose in November by 579.5 million or 3% to 20,183.56 million manat. From the beginning, the bank's assets increased by 22.1 %, while for the year - 27.2% .
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, on December 1, 2013 the amount of cash in banks amounted to 763.3 million manat, funds in correspondent accounts amounted to 1138.3 million manat , lending financial sector - 895.9 million manat, customer lending - 13,962.8 million manats, investments - 1,622.2 million manats , other assets - up to 1,801.1 million manat.
Liabilities of banks increased in the reporting month by 488.52 million or 3% to 16,862.04 million manat. Of these, 8,892.6 million manat deposits were provided , 6,738.6 million manat - funds provided by the financial sector , and 1,230.8 million manat - other liabilities .
The total capital of banks increased over the year by 853.2 million or 34.6% , and in November - 91 million manat or 2.8 percent to 3,321.5 million manat. - 15B -

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
