At the local market sold 12.42 % of the mobile devices of unknown origin
The share of mobile devices of unknown origin in Azerbaijan exceeds eighth of ( 12.42 %) with a tendency to increase. The reason for this is a huge number of outstanding vendors in the weak inspection by the customs.
According to the Centre for Statistics Global Stats, the leader with 36.8 % of sales is products of the Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia. Moreover, its share for 3 quarters of this year fell by more than 21.8 %. An even greater decline (36 %) is observed in the level of sales compared to October 1 last year. At the same time, compared with August, in September Nokia's market share increased by about 4.4%.
In second place with a 29.95 % share of sales come Samsung products at a 2.5% lower rate in September. The paradox is that, compared with January , in September, the market share of Samsung in Azerbaijan grew by 35.52%, as compared to October 1 last year, an increase of 82%.
In third place with a decrease in volume in September compared with August by 5.57 % was the share market of mobile devices from Apple. Since the beginning of the year the share of production of this giant rose by 24 %. It owns 12.72 % of the market of mobile phones in Azerbaijan, which is 22 % more than the same period last year.
In fourth place with a market share of 12.42% settled unknown manufacturers of mobile devices (mainly Chinese). This is followed by the devices from Blackberry - 2.2%, Sony - 2.11%, HTC - 1.95%, LG - 0.71%, Huawei - 0.69% and Google - 0.25%. - 17D-

In late February, the governments of Pakistan and Azerbaijan are expected to sign an investment agreement worth $2 billion, which will include several projects with SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan). According to Turan, the energy cooperation projects discussed in January in Islamabad and Baku will feature in the agreement.
