AtaBank on results of 2012 was successful. Observed dynamics of increase in assets compared to the previous year by 24.5%, or 56.5 million manat. At the beginning of the year assets of 231.0 mln and by the end of the year the figure was 287.6 million manat.
The credit portfolio grew by 28.5%, or 41.8 million manat. So, if at the beginning of the credit rate was 146.7 mln, by the end of the year it exceeded the amount of 188.5 million manat.
At the end of 2012 there was a significant increase in its portfolio of term deposits of the bank. It rose by 16.3% or 26.6 million manat to 189.6 million manat. Note that at the beginning of 2012 this figure was 163.1 million manat. During 2012, the year was marked by a large increase in the dynamics of fixed-term deposits. Compared with the beginning of the year, term deposits of individuals increased 32.0% to 134.5 million manat.
At year end, the return on assets (ROA) and equity (ROE) of the bank amounted to 1.8% and 17.4%. In 2012, the number of ATMs increased from 64 to 72, and a network of POS-terminals has 9217 units. Net profit for the year amounted to 4.4 million manat.
Successes impose greater responsibility on the bank and its employees in 2013. "AtaBank", which is a priority goal - to be a step ahead, and plans this year to continue to improve its work, the implementation of new projects to ensure customer satisfaction. Successful continuation of the increase in financial performance and institutional development will be an integral part of the development strategy in the current year. The bank also plans to open several electronic departments and branches. The use of new services, staff development, obtaining international lending and deposit ratings, etc. is the main objective in 2013. At the moment, the international audit company Deloitte & Touche audits the financial performance of the bank for 2013.
In 2012, the international rating agency Fitch Ratings assigned AtaBank a short-term rating of "B". Launched in 2012, the lottery incentive "pay by bank, get cash" by AtaBank has been very successful, and during the campaign there was an increase cardholders "AtaBank". Among the clients of the bank - participants in the lottery, 467 people won various cash prizes.
In 2012, AtaBank sold the service AtaMatik in Shamkir for people living in remote areas of the country. It provides convenient use of plastic cards by social workers, teachers and other employees of public institutions, as well as ordinary citizens. -15D -
