Ateshgah Pays AZN 2.7 million on CASCO Insurance in Eight Months of 2012
The insurance company Ateshgah paid for cases related to motor vehicle accidents (voluntary CASCO insurance) 2.7 million manat in January-August 2012. This is AZN 600,000 more compared to the same period last year.
In August, they carried out three large payments in this segment. Thus, 44,500 manat was paid on the occasion of damage to a car brand HOWO, which overturned on the highway Gilezi - Khyzy. A similar incident occurred with a car brand Hyundai County in Khachmaz. The amount of payment was 25,000 manat.
The third payment in the amount of 20,765 manat was implemented upon the collision of a car brand Volkswagen Passat CC with a car VAZ 21063 in Baku. In total, only in August the payment by Ateshgah on CASCO insurance amounted to more than 447,000 manat.
Ateshgah has operated in the local insurance market since January 1997.
In March 2007, the company received a license for a period of 5 years.
The company currently provides services for four types of compulsory and 18 types of voluntary insurance.
To date, Azerbaijan has 8 offices of the insurance company Ateshgah, 5 of which are located in the regions - in the cities of Ganja, Lankaran, Khachmaz, Sheki and Mingechevir. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
