Azerbaijan Accelerates Infrastructure Development with Aghdam Railway and Bus Terminal Complex
In a stride towards enhancing connectivity and infrastructure, the construction of a comprehensive railway and bus terminal complex has commenced in Aghdam, as revealed by Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (AZD).
Chairman Rustamov informed reporters that substantial progress has been achieved in the realization of the Barda-Aghdam railway line project, with an impressive 85% of the initiative already completed. Emphasizing the momentum gained, he highlighted that the current focus lies on advancing the construction of terminal stations in Tazakend, Barda, and Kochari.
The railway development project stands as a testament to Azerbaijan's commitment to modernizing its transportation infrastructure, with an aim to bolster regional connectivity and facilitate the movement of goods and passengers efficiently.
In parallel, Rustamov provided insights into the Goradiz-Agbend project, disclosing that 45% of the work has been successfully executed. He underscored the accelerated pace at which the project is unfolding and outlined the ambitious target of its completion by 2025.
As Azerbaijan positions itself for continued economic growth, investments in critical infrastructure projects like these signal the nation's dedication to fostering sustainable development.
