Azerbaijan to Supply Vegetables to Urals in Exchange for Locomotives, Cars and Other Expensive
Azerbaijan invests in the logistics center for fruit and vegetables exported to the Sverdlovsk region and the neighboring areas of Russia.
According to the governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev at the Russian-Azerbaijani forum in Yekaterinburg, now authorities are looking for a platform for the project. When designing, the experience of the Stavropol region in the organization of these structures was studied, and information was prepared on the region's needs for fresh vegetables.
The governor also said that the Middle Urals is ready to offer Azerbaijan cooperation not only through agricultural industry, but also in the field of mechanical engineering, oil and gas, medical and pharmaceutical industry. In particular, Ural Locomotives can deliver passenger trains and railway engines and Ural Railway Car Plant is interested in expanding supplies of railway cars and tanks to Azerbaijan. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
