Azerbaijan's Wheat Production Faces Stagnation Amid Global Changes

Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has issued a series of amendments to the "Model Regulations for Industrial Zones" initially approved in May 2015. The changes aim to enhance the management and operation of both public and private industrial zones in the country.

As the cost of internet services in Azerbaijan continues to rise, so too does the frustration of its citizens. With new tariffs pushing monthly fees to 27 manats or more per subscriber, many households are abandoning their internet connections altogether. Families that once juggled two internet access points are now making tough decisions, while those in rural areas with limited incomes are feeling the pressure to cut back.

A new phase of investment cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan is emerging, driven by the activities of an Azerbaijani-Uzbek investment company with an authorized capital of $500 million. This joint initiative was presented at the Uzbek-Azerbaijani forum held in Tashkent on August 22-23.

Today, the Uzbek-Azerbaijani business forum, which began on August 22, concluded in Tashkent. It was organized by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).
