Azercell supports next knowledge competition
The winners of the 13th Azerbaijan Business Case Competition (ABCC) supported by a number of country’s leading companies, including leader mobile operator Azercell Telecom and organized by the US-educated Azerbaijani Alumni Association have been publicly announced. As a result of the annual competition held at ADA University, Azerbaijan State University of Economics took the 1st place, while ADA University (Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy) and Qafqaz University were ranked the 2nd and the 3rd accordingly. Students from the three universities were qualified to the final round out of 50 teams. The finalists were awarded AZN 10,500 in total. Thus, the winning team received AZN 6,000, the second place winner AZN 3,000 and the third place winner AZN 1,500. In addition, the finalists also received various gifts, coupons, travel and camping presents from sponsors and other companies. We would like to add that, as during the previous years, Azercell has granted the best distinguished member of the winning team with special scholarship.
While 50 teams applied to take part at Azerbaijan Business Case Competition in September, this number later decreased to 21 as a result of next qualifying rounds. Students from ADA University, Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, Baku State University, Khazar University and Qafqaz University participated in the competition.
The mentioned competition was founded in 2002 by the US-educated Azerbaijani Alumni Association. Over 800 students have participated in ABCC so far.

Azerbaijan’s industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs reported a modest 1.1% year-on-year increase in industrial production during 2024, reaching an output valued at 64.1 billion manat.
