Bank of Azerbaijan plans to significantly expand its branch network
JSC Bank of Azerbaijan for the convenience of customers and in the strategy plans before the end of this year to expand its branch network to 20 units.
As reported in the bank, in June and July, the bank is preparing to commission a branch in Lenkoran. Appeal to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan for a license for the operation of the new unit has already been done.
Lankaran branch will offer individuals and corporate bodies a full range of banking services, including cash and settlement operations, various consumer and business loans, deposits, plastic cards operations, payments for public utilities and mobile services, sending and receiving money transfers and etc.
The bank currently operates through the head office, 16 branches and three offices. -15D -

At the advisory meeting of railway administrations held in Baku on September 19-20, Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY), met with Ufuk Yalçın, General Director and Chairman of the Board of the Turkish State Railways Company "TCDD Taşımacılık." The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has completed its monitoring and evaluation of the first half of the year in relation to the "I State Program on the Great Return to the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan." This state program focuses on restoring infrastructure and resettling displaced populations in areas that were reclaimed during the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
