Banks Lose AZN 800 Million from Distrust of Investors in H1, 2015
The Azerbaijani banks in the first half of 2015 drew to deposit accounts 374,324,000 manat cash (1.97 times less than by 1 July of last year – 738,299,000).
But, judging by the report of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, payments on deposits increased 1.89 times – 918,560,000 to 487,010,000 manat last year. That is, as a result of the February devaluation, which accounts for the process of capital outflow, the banks have lost a total 795.53 million manat as a result of distrust of depositors. --17D-
