BSE turnover in January-July fell by almost half
The total turnover of transactions on all instruments at Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) in January-July 2013 amounted to 3,586.55 million manat, which is almost half of what it was in the corresponding period of the previous year. In July, traffic exchanges amounted to 601.48 million manat.
According to the BSE, the share of government securities in the reporting period had 83.2% of all transactions.
The decline in stock sales occurred at the expense of the government securities market, reducing by 2.3 times. The turnover of transactions in the primary market of notes decreased 3.5 times. The volume of repo transactions decreased 2.3 times.
The corporate securities market increased 2.4 times. Operations on the initial public offering of bonds increased by 105%, while the volume of secondary transactions in bonds - by 93%. Primary market share increased by 3.8 times, while the secondary market - by 2.8 times. - 15D -

The Caspian International Investment Company JSC ended 2023 with a net loss of 557,000 manats, a significant improvement compared to the previous year, when losses were four times higher. The company's pre-tax losses for the year amounted to 264,000 manats, 11 times lower than in 2022, while income tax payments of 293,000 manats highlighted the efficiency achieved through strategic fiscal management.
