Business Mission from Omsk Region to Visit Baku
A group of representatives of small and medium business of the Omsk region of Russia, interested in establishing business ties with Azerbaijani colleagues, will visit in Baku on Sunday. A business meeting with participation of business circles is scheduled for April 3 in the Baku Business Center, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) reports.
The delegation of entrepreneurs includes representatives of the following companies:
Biomedservice (sale of medicines for the treatment of patients with immunodeficiency conditions, chronic viral infections, and dysbacteriosis);
Alfa-Oil Service (oilfield services), Cereal Lines (export of grain and oilseeds);
Service Montage Integration - Omsk (release of technical solutions for power distribution and enterprise automation);
Vneshtorgresurs (an export supplier of factories producing chemical and petrochemical products);
Cross Automatica (services in the field of creation of intelligent automated systems).
From the Russian side, the visit of entrepreneurs is organized by the Omsk Regional Export Support Center. The trip will end on April 6. -----08D

The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan reported that in 2024 investments in fixed assets reached 21,435.1 million manats, which is 0.7% less than in 2023. While overall figures edged lower, the sectoral breakdown reveals notable disparities between the oil and gas sphere and non-oil industries.

Azerbaijan’s industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs reported a modest 1.1% year-on-year increase in industrial production during 2024, reaching an output valued at 64.1 billion manat. The State Statistics Committee attributed the overall growth to a 0.5% expansion in the oil and gas sector, while non-oil and gas industries surged by 7.3%.
