Capital outlays for south Caucasian pipeline increased up to $9 million during 9 months, 2013
From January to September 2013 the capital outlays related to the South Caucasian Pipeline (SCP) operation totaled $9 million, up 16.9% against the same period in 2012, reported press office of BP – the technical operator of the pipeline construction and operation.
During this year the capital outlays of SCP are forecasted to be $15 million against $11 million actually spent during last year.
The statement also reads that from January to September 2013 average daily gas export via SCP totaled 12.4 million cub.m. against 11.1 million cub.m. during last year.
Gas delivered to Azerbaijani regions and Georgia is transported via SCP, which was put into operation at the end of 2006. Since June 2007 gas from the gas condensate field Shah-Deniz in the Caspian Sea is transported to Turkey via the SCP.
The SCP shareholders are BP (technical operator) and Statoil (commercial operator) with 25.5% share each, SOCAR, NICO, LUKoil and Total with 10% each and ТРАО with 9%.—0--
