Caspian Oil and Gas exhibition to open in Expo Centre today
The annual International Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition will start in Baku today. It is the 21st exhibition and it is considered the best one in the oil and gas industry in the Caspian Sea basin.
Iteca Caspian company, organizer of the exhibition, said that this year 402 companies from 29 world countries will take part at the exhibition this year. 386 companies from 28 countries took part at the Caspian Oil and Gas-2013.
Growth of the exhibition constituted 10% against last year. The main achievement is annual increase in number of local companies, which constitute 35% of all participants this year.
The exhibition will be held from June 3 to 6 at the Expo Centre in Baku. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will attend the exhibition opening.
This year UK, Germany, Italy, China, Russia, USA and France will present their stands at the exhibition.

BP, the operator of the Shah Deniz gas condensate field, announced on Sunday that production from the Shah Deniz Alpha platform resumed on the evening of January 18. This followed the complete resolution of a technical issue with the subsea condensate export pipeline between the Shah Deniz Alpha platform and the Sangachal terminal.
