Over 500 delegates from 30 world countries to take part Caspian Oil & Gas conference
The 21st international conference Caspian Oil & Gas will take place tomorrow. The conference will first time take place at Mariott Absheron hotel.
Over 500 delegates from 30 world countries are expected to take part at the conference. The program of the conference includes speeches of over 50 representatives of state agencies, leading experts of the oil and gas industry and heads of big oil and gas companies.
The program of the conference includes the following topics: “Azerbaijan’s role in energy deliveries in Eurasia,” “International Cooperation to Ensure Growth of Production and Diversification of Deliveries,” “Diversification of Oil and Gas Transportation from Caspian Sea region,” “Stable Development of Big Oil & Gas Projects: Formation of Gas Prices and Long-Term Contracts,” “Geological Exploration and Potential for Expanding Hydrocarbon Resources of Azerbaijan,” “Review of Petrochemistry and Oil Refining in Azerbaijan and Perspectives of Development” and etc.
The international cooperation as a part of the Shah-Deniz Phase 2 development, construction of trans-Anadolu (TANAP) and trans-Adriatic (TAP) pipelines, innovations in construction of offshore platforms, drilling rigs and offshore pipelines, new projects both in the extracting industry and transportation of oil and gas resources in the Caspian Sea region will be also discussed at the conference.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met today with Ahmed Moallim Figi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia, at the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. This meeting followed a discussion held the previous day between Figi and Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov.
