Customs Simplified Declaration for Individuals
The State Customs Committee (SCC) integrated into the portal e-government (www.e-gov.az) services of "simplified declaration for individuals."
The chief of the head evaluation and development programs department Igbal Babayev told reporters that, according to the simplified procedures, citizens and visitors entering and leaving the country will be able to advance to declare the goods, vehicles, jewelry, currency, etc. in the online-mode. These services will be provided not only by e-government, but also the official website of the State Customs Committee (www.dgk.gov.az).
In addition, to facilitate the citizens to cross the border at all border points there are installed information kiosks GOMRÜK, through which you can fill out simplified customs declarations, as well as get acquainted with the legal framework and the rules of customs control to travelers.
Also available is the list of goods prohibited for import and export operations. According to Babayev, this service will minimize the relationship between officials and citizens, ensure the transparency of customs services, and also prevent the loss of too much time at checkpoints. --17D-
