Dostlar Klubu has 100,000 customers
The 100000th member of Dostlar Klubu, which was established by Bank of Baku in May 2012, was announced today. It was Baku’s resident Ilham Shiriyev. The bank transferred 1000 AZN to his account as a bonus and also presented him a corporate gift. The 100000th member of the Club is the owner of Dostlar Klubu Diamond card.
Dostlar Klubu offers the customers various privileges. Abbas Ibrahimov, deputy chairman of Bank of Baku, said that the Dostlar Klubu – the Club for loyal customers – is an innovation at the local banking sector. Our goal is to provide privileged bank products to our local clients. We are happy that our customers are interested in our projects.”
Bank of Baku offers various privilege cards to the customers that have a long history of cooperation with the bank. The cards are given to the clients of consumer credits allotted for the period of 12 months and more and those having a ppositive credit history.
One of the main conditions of the program is the bonus given to the customers when they repay their credit and it is used to pay for commissions of the new credit. Therefore, once the customers get new bank services, they will pay a less commission sum. The card owners also have a possibility to receive a credit worth 10,000 AZN at soft interest rates and without a letter from the employer. The card owners also have a credit line in case of emergency and have a possibility to transfer part of the bonus to a free balance of mobile communication.—0--

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
