Electronic signature will be accessible
A new tariff on the issue of the electronic signature (e-signature) has been approved.
According to the official portal of the Ministry of Communications, high-tech users from the "population" category will pay 18 manats, individuals engaged in self-employment will pay 36 manats and legal entities will pay 72 manats. Government agencies will receive their electronic signature at the cost of 80 manat.
The terms of certification of the signature have not changed - it is valid for three years.
By April 1 of this year Azerbaijan issued 18,452 electronic signatures, of which 5,022 were issued to the population and individual entrepreneurs, 755 – to legal entities, and 12,675 – to employees of state structures.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
