Five units of municipal equipment purchased for the city of Shusha

The International Monetary Fund, in its report “Regional Economic Outlook: Middle East and Central Asia” titled “Navigating a Changing Geoeconomic Landscape,” shared its vision for 2025 development in South Caucasus countries, including Azerbaijan.

The Baku Stadium, set to host the COP29 climate conference, has been equipped with four kitchens, including three in the Blue Zone and one in the Green Zone, Anar Zeynalov, head of the Department of Catering, Cleaning, and Waste Treatment at COP29, told reporters.

The International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) head in Azerbaijan, Aliya Asimova, stressed the need for increased climate project financing within Azerbaijan's banking sector. Speaking at the V Dialogue on Sustainable Development Goals titled “Sounds of the Future: Actions Against Climate Change,” Asimova noted the abundance of global liquidity for climate initiatives but underscored the need to channel these funds into actionable projects.

The Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization (AZSTANDART), operating under the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control, has initiated the development of the "National Standardization Program for 2025-2027." The institute is currently soliciting proposals from standardization entities and other stakeholders regarding state standards to be adopted over the next three years. Interested parties are invited to submit their suggestions within 15 days by completing the designated form available on AZSTANDART's official website.
