The State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patent of the amended State standard AZS 059-2001 "Non ethyl motor gasoline", which come into force on April 1 this year.
The new version of the standard is called Gasoline. Specifications. The standard adds a new fourth brand of gasoline - A-98. The norm of the brand is determined as detonation resistance, density, grain size distribution, acidity, mass fraction of sulfur and other indicators and means of verification of gasoline A-98, which has components that increase its octane characteristics.
Prior to that standard the AZS 059-2001 standard provided for three grades of gasoline: A-80, A-92 and A-95. - 08D-
