Group of Companies Gilan Holding Shelters Two Companies
The brand name Gilan took two companies that in one form or another belonged to the group of companies Gilan Holding.
According to the state register of commercial legal entities, UEI Claim and Valuation Ltd. changed its name to LLC Gilan Real Estate Valuation Services. The UEI abbreviation in Azerbaijan includes at least three companies (UEI Transport, UEI Trucks, Auto UEI Azerbaijan), which in one way or another are connected with the founders and heads of Gilan Holding.
Another company (LLC First Beverage) operates under the name Gilan Real Estate Management.
It is noteworthy that contrary to the law "On state registration and state register of legal entities", the said companies have not made the change in their names public in the press. In accordance with the regulations, changes in the state register of legal entities of data should be disclosed in the official gazette of the Ministry of Taxes.
Gilan Holding’s lawyer Vusal Dadashov told Turan that not all companies that bear the name of the holding can be referred to it. He did not specify the attitude of the two above-mentioned companies to the holding company. "To ensure that the company is directly related to the holding company, there must be a bilateral agreement between the parties. Today, the financial-industrial group Gilan Holding includes about 40-50 companies," said the representative of the holding company. He also noted that out of several hundred companies directly or indirectly related to the holding only a few operate. ----- 08B
