IBA signed an agreement with Microsoft Corporation
The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) has signed a long-term cooperation with Microsoft as part of Microsoft Enterprise Agreement. By its terms the International Bank has an opportunity to transition to the Microsoft platform for all of the computers used in the organization.
Terms of EnterpriseAgreement are intended for organizations with 250 computers and over who have chosen the Microsoft platform as corporate standard. The signing of the document opens broad prospects of cooperation between the International Bank of Azerbaijan and Microsoft, promotes the introduction of innovative technologies and the optimization of bank processes. The operator of the project is SoftlineInternational.
"Working together on this agreement was carried out for several years. The priority placed by the Bank of innovative technologies, and a wide range of software provided by the corporation Microsoft, played a crucial role in the successful completion of the project, "- said the deputy chairman of the IBA Gubad Huseynov.
"The signing of this agreement meets the requirements of the Information Security Bank, International Bank of Azerbaijan will standardize IT infrastructure and opens perspectives for further multi-level cooperation. We hope that the signing of EnterpriseAgreement with such a major player in the financial sector of the country, will serve as an example for the rest of the banks, "- said General Manager of Microsoft Azerbaijan Rufat Hajialibeyov.
EnterpriseAgreement agreement has a number of advantages. One of the most important is to reduce total cost of ownership that allows you to pay more in annual installments rather than one lump sum. Enterprise Agreement can also use the latest versions of products Microsoft (Software Assurance).
During the term of an Enterprise Agreement company may use the licensed product on all the computers included in the contract, and to add new computers during the term of the agreement.
Full control of the cost of purchasing the software ensures that the license cost per one PC remains constant throughout the term of the agreement, and the dim Software Assurance coverage can insure against a possible rise in prices due to the release of new versions. -15D -
