In 2013 azerbaijan exported oil at $113 per barrel
According to the meters of the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee, in January and February 2013 5,636,944 tons of crude oil was delivered to the foreign markets. Azerbaijani oil export dropped by 7.6% against the same period last year, reported the Committee.
During the same period the declared volume of Azerbaijani oil totaled 4,231,683 tons to the amount of $3,538,865,500. One can conclude that since early year average export price of Azerbaijani oil was $836.28 per ton or $113.01 per barrel.
The Committee also reported that of total volume of export 249,601 tons was exported via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline, 712,703 tons via the Baku-Supsa pipeline and 4,531,665 tons via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC). 142,975 tons was exported by railway.
According to the meters, in 2012 34,935,000 tons of oil was exported from Azerbaijan. Of this volume 24,237,000 tons of oil to the amount of $20,232,000,000 was exported on the basis of the customs declarations.—0—
