In April, Ministry of Finance Intends to Place Bonds at Record Amount
The Ministry of Finance intends to place government bonds in April for a total of 185 million manat. If these plans are implemented, this will be a record indicator since 2014.
The first placement of T-bills is scheduled for April 4. The investor offers bonds for the amount of 20 million manat with a circulation period of 91 days. In addition to short-term bonds (up to 1 year) in April, it is also planned to place medium-term (2 years) bonds for a total of 35 million.
In 2017, the Ministry of Finance issued bonds from 91 days to 364 days for a total of 600 million manat, and for 2 years for a total of 100 million manat.
The main investors in the state bonds market are commercial banks. State securities are placed at an annual rate of 14-18%. ----08B
