In January 2014 oil export via CPC terminal increased by 17.8%
In January 2014 oil export via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) terminal increased by 17.8% against January 2013 up to 2,929,000 tons, reported CPC.
CPC is the pipeline system connecting Kazakhstan with the offshore port in Novorossiysk, where oil is loaded into the tanker for its further shipment to the world markets.
The CPC shareholders are Russia with 31% (represented by Transneft with 24% and CPC Company with 7%), Kazakhstan – 20.75% (represented by Kazmunaigas with 19% and Kazakhstan Pipeline Ventures LLC 1.75%), Chevron Caspian Pipeline Consortium Company - 15%, LUKARCO B.V. – 12.5%, Mobil Caspian Pipeline Company - 7,. %, Rosneft-Shell Caspian Ventures Limited – 7.5%, BG Overseas Holding Limited - 2%, Eni International N.A.
