In the first reading the draft law "On Customs Tariff" passed
At the plenary meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament in the first reading the draft law "On Customs Tariff".
According to the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy Ziyad Samadzadeh, in the case of adoption of the document the efforts of national, including the economic security of the country, will be more clearly defined tariffs, their implementation and the rules of customs duties.
In Article 23 of the document there are 5 sections. The main purpose of the adoption of the law is to settle the structure of imports of goods, provision of efficient ratio of foreign currency revenues and expenses, the protection of the state of the economy from the negative impact of foreign competition, creating the conditions for integration into the world economy.
There are seasonal duties with a validity of six months provided for control over the import and export of goods in special cases. The document, approved by the World Trade Organization, reflected tariff concessions, exemption from customs duties and protection of classified information, the rights and obligations of the declaring person and the customs authorities, the methods of determining the customs value of the goods to customs declaration of goods. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
