Inflation in annual terms amounts to 13.6%
In January, inflation in Azerbaijan on an annualized basis was 13.6%, the State Statistics Committee (SSC) told Turan. According to the SSC data based on an analysis of prices on 547 types of goods (works and services), food prices grew by 18.3%, non-food products - 17.2%, and services to the population - 4.6%.
Deputy Chairman of the SCS Yusif Yusifov in an interview with Turan has denied the statements of independent experts about the politicization of statistics, in particular the consumer price index.
