Today (http://www.science.gov.az/ru/news.php?id=4869) Director of the local Institute of Information Technologies, Rasim Alguliyev, met with Amir Dossal, special envoy for global cooperation of the ITU, head of the Global Partnership Forum.
The sides noted the importance of the global projects implemented in Azerbaijan, discussed issues related to information security, but also put forward suggestions and recommendations.
The sides also discussed prospects of cooperation between organizations, and it was proposed to conduct at the Institute of ANAS one of the meetings "the Broadband Commission."

While overall figures edged lower, the sectoral breakdown reveals notable disparities between the oil and gas sphere and non-oil industries.

Azerbaijan’s industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs reported a modest 1.1% year-on-year increase in industrial production during 2024, reaching an output valued at 64.1 billion manat. The State Statistics Committee attributed the overall growth to a 0.5% expansion in the oil and gas sector, while non-oil and gas industries surged by 7.3%.
