JSC «Saba» confirms the information about the sending the employees on unpaid vacation
The JSC «Saba» confirmed the information disseminated on October 5 that the part of the company's employees have been sent on unpaid leave for 3 months. The company reported that 50 employees of the enterprise involved in the production of poultry were sent on unpaid leave for three months. Such a measure of the company is explained the desire to achieve profitability of poultry farms.
"The reason for this is the increase in raw materials prices. The company decided to reduce administrative costs. Salaries of administrative staff receiving more than 500 AZN at the enterprise engaged in the production of chicken will be calculated depending on the company's income," reads the statement.
The company said that at the poultry farm «Saba» employs 800 people, and over the first nine months, despite a decrease in profitability, no employee was not dismissed.
At the same time, the report notes that the Cabinet decision of 23 September, 2016 concerning the customs tariff will have a positive impact on the company's sales. Thank to this the work of the poultry farm in the coming months will again become profitable, and the staff sent on leave at his own expense will be returned, said JSC «Saba».
