Jubilee Exhibition on Telecommunications and Information Technologies
Over 100 companies have already confirmed their participation in the anniversary of the Azerbaijan International Specialized Exhibition and Conference "Telecommunications and Information Technology» of Bakutel.
According to the organizer - Iteca Caspian LLC, the event on Dec. 2 (Opening Day) will celebrate 20 years. Among the participants of the current action there are leading ICT companies, Azerbaijani mobile operators, telecom operators, internet service providers, system integrators, and distributors of famous brands. According to the tradition, there will be national stands of the Ministries of Communications and High Technologies of Turkey, Belarus, Italy, and other local government partners. The exhibition continues the tradition of providing opportunities for young professionals to talk about their inventions, programs and services in the largest event ICT sector in the region. Therefore, much attention is paid to the exhibition Start Up, which this year marks a special stand for the exhibition. The program Bakutel 2014 will include conferences, seminars, round tables and business forums and Internet forums, many more.
There will be a play area using the latest gaming technology. In connection with the 20th anniversary of the exhibition a program of additional measures will be planned and carried out. --17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
