Master Plan of City of Baku for Next 20 Years to Be Developed by German Company
Baku / 15.04.19 / Turan: The German urban planning company AS + P won the tender for the development of the General Plan of the City of Baku, the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture reports.
AS + P company will participate in the implementation of the second phase of the development of the General Plan of Baku. It will be based on the priorities defined by the development concept, which is developed by the consulting company Boston Consulting Group. Within the framework of the 2nd stage of development of the Master Plan, work will be carried out on strategic and multi-level planning of the territory of Baku, modeling based on the main indicators of the development of the city. On the basis of this work, programs will be drawn up in various areas, including the use of territories, the development of road transport infrastructure and public transport systems, the improvement of the environment and ecological condition, the engineering communication system, the regulation of the density of buildings, etc.
The development of a new master plan for the city of Baku will be completed by the end of 2020. He will determine the city"s development plans for the next 20 years. The date of execution of the current General Plan ended in 2005.
The tender procedure took place from December 2018 on the basis of more than 40 evaluation criteria. About 20 foreign companies took part in it. ------08D--

At today’s session of the Milli Majlis, Azerbaijan’s parliamentarians discussed and approved in the first reading a draft law increasing the minimum subsistence level for 2025.
