Azerbaijan will expand the tax base, for which the relevant Ministry intends to develop a new model, with the prospect of further changes to the relevant legislation on the use of "electronic criminal case."
So, it is planned to replace outdated cash registers in order to identify tax evaders and to develop incentives (lottery, bonus campaigns, etc.) so that citizens demand checks in cash payment," reads the information of the Ministry of Taxes.
The introduction of the tax assessment and modeling capacities and the suitable software will allow to minimize tax evasion in the areas of private enterprise such as the repair of apartments, services of gardeners, nannies, housekeepers, and other categories of services in the segment of small private businesses. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
