Newly Formed Company to Invest AZN 1 Million in Privatized Enterprise
LLC Azagroinvestisiya has been announced the winner of the investment competition for sale of 99.83% of shares of Salyan Elektrik Qaynaq Avadanliqlari.
The contest was held on 22 December, at the same time were known the results. However the State Property Committee unveiled them on 24 January through its publication (newspaper Mulkiyyet).
According to the investment program of LLC Azagroinvestisiya, for 1 year, the company plans to invest 1 million manat. These funds will be used to build a warehouse complex to provide some central and southern regions of the country with mineral fertilizers. For the acquisition of shares of a total nominal value 765 300 AZN the company shall remit to the state budget 180,000 manat.
Note that according to the information of the State Register of commercial legal entities, LLC Azagroinvestisiya was established precisely to acquire a welding equipment plant in Salyan. The company with a registered capital of 10 manat was registered in Baku on 24 October 2014. The founders of the company are not known. --- 08D

Data on Azerbaijan's oil exports for January-October 2024 reveals a significant drop in both volume and value compared to the same period last year, highlighting the challenges facing the oil-dependent economy. The country exported 495,484.05 tons of oil products worth $309.02 million, a decrease of 40.3% in value and 40.7% in volume compared to 2023, when exports totaled 925,225.07 tons worth $572.21 million.
