Operational Performance Report on Budget for 2015
The Ministry of Finance distributed the information on the operational report on execution of the state budget of Azerbaijan in 2015.
According to him, revenues, performed by 88.2%, were at the level of 17 billion 153.2 million manats (forecast 19 billion 438 million AZN). Expenditures were executed at 84.3% or 17 billion 786.8 million manats with a deficit of 633.6 million AZN.
Among the revenue part the first place belongs to transfers from the State Oil Fund - 8.13 billion manats, or 47.4%, which, though less than in years past, is still a huge burden on the stability of the economy.
The share of the Ministry of Taxes is 41.5%, or 7 billion 118.2 million manats. The State Customs Committee transferred 1 billion 591.9 million manats. Budgetary organizations transferred 222.6 million manats, while other income amounted to 90.5 million manats.
In the structure of budget expenditures almost a third (31.9% or 5 billion 665.9 million AZN) fell to the social needs (salaries, pensions, social benefits, the cost of medicines and food). More than half (58.2% or 10 billion 361.5 million manats) of expenditures were in the so-called operating costs, 37.8% or 6 billion 720.9 million manats were capital expenditure, 4% or 704.4 million manats were public debt services. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
