PASHA Bank and SSC held the event to enhance the effectiveness of corporate governance in joint stock companies
In partnership one of the largest banks in the country - PASHA Bank - and the State Securities Committee of Azerbaijan Republic in lip was held a regional video conference dedicated to strengthening corporate governance and accountability in joint stock companies (JSC).
The conference was attended by representatives of JSC from areas such as Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Siyazan and Shabran and SSC management and leading specialists of PASHA Bank.
The event discussed the following topics: the current state of the securities market and its trends, work stock and bringing their activities in accordance with national legislation, improving corporate governance and reporting, the need for the introduction of audit groups, and other issues.
The event concluded session of the "question and answer", where the questions of joint-stock companies provided detailed answers SSC experts and PASHA Bank.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
