Payments Made on the New CTP on Two-thirds of Claims for Compulsory Insurance

In January-April for all types of insurance there was paid 38 million 211.21 thsd manat, which is 30.7% more than last year. Growth, particularly in the segment of payments was due to mandatory civil liability of vehicle owners - 7.36 million manat (as of May 1 last year for CTP was paid more than 40 times smaller - 158.93 thsd manat).

For insurance claims in the voluntary types produced 27 million 102.36 thousand manats payments. The greatest amount of compensation was in the VHI - 13.93 million manat and hull insurance of motor vehicles - 8.27 million manat, voluntary life insurance paid 818.16 million manat, travel insurance - 102.85 thousand manats.

On accident insurance there was paid 354.31 million manat, on property insurance against fire and other risks - 1.71 million manat, on cargo insurance - 14.1 million manat, on voluntary insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners - 105.09 thousand manats.

We note in particular insurance companies from employee fraud - in these cases there was offset 1.7 million manat. According to general liability insurance paid 102.26 thsd manat, employers' liability insurance - 16.42 thsd manat. The deaths of livestock, as well as on the facts of crop offset overall made up 74.12 thsd manat, which is a little bit in terms of "voids" in the contracts.

Mandatory insurance generally paid 11.11 million manat, of which the new CTP, as already noted, had 66.25% (7.36 million manat).
