Phone 1654 for information security
The Center for E-security of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan has introduced the four-digit number ( 1654 ) " hotline ."
As head of the Center Faig Farmanov told reporters, citizens can apply for and receive the necessary advice on matters of mutual interest . This is important for education , as well as to provide guidance to be followed to improve the level of information security . Currently , work is underway on the distribution functions " hot line" , after which each application will be worked through in detail team of professionals .
In addition, the Center will publish electronic security analyzes and statistics on computer attacks , the number of fixed network incidents , the number of phishing attacks and virus activity . The main purpose of preparing the report is timely informing users about the threats that will significantly reduce the damage from virus and hacker attacks. The report with recommendations to improve the level of information security systems will be prepared on the basis of analysis of information on already recorded incidents.
The ordinance on the operations of the Centre in e-security Ministry of Communications and Information Technology was signed by the President on March 5, 2013 . The Decree also approved the regulations of the Centre. The center will coordinate the activities of the subjects of the information infrastructure in the field of cybersecurity awareness at the national level of existing and possible electronic danger in educating the public , private and other entities ( users) in the field of cyber security and the provision of guidance to them . - 17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance.
